Helping mothers in this crisis..

As many of you know I am a retired midwife and I am concerned about mothers labouring in these difficult times of the pandemic with stress on our NHS  Some mothers may not be permitted their partners and I am seeing stressed mothers posting on the RCM facebook page.  So I have put together a post on my cup of tea share & care blog with some short films from me to help..

Also some of the NYR aromatherapy can help and diffusers can be permitted in the birth room if you discuss with your midwife on coping strategies..  All the products are made with love so when you shower and when you self massage with oils, body butters and balms... you can feel the love and know that all the team are with you with that love.

The hand self massage in the previous post here will also be helpful... the key is to relax and let go of tension and fears to allow your body to do what it is designed to do... women are never alone - the spirit of all our birth goddesses from the past are with us in our evolution and getting our human race to this point in time...

My Hand Massage video with love

I am using the NYR Bee Lovely Body butter for this massage to give an intensive treatment and to help relax with longer hand massage..... The Bee Lovely range has honey in that is natures healer... I have been using the NYR Bee lovely hand wash too as others on the market were making my hands sore... and we do have tubes of Bee Lovely hand cream....
If you are to get the 200g pot of Bee lovely body butter decant it into small pots for other members of the family to use.. as sharing the same pot I would not recommend for potential cross infection of in fact any infection! Best to keep products for one to one use...
I wish I could fathom out the film upload when larger file on youtube and vimeo... as I had put some more relaxing breathing techniques and healing in the longer version.... techniques that have seen my mothers through labour and delivery as I cared for them when in practice as a midwife. We are being called back out of retirement but sadly I cannot go to the front-line with my medical history I would simply fall foul of this darn virus and add to the workload. I would like to put more films together as a reach out of my love and care to you all... I miss my clinical practice.... I am trying to reference search for other nurses and midwives on twitter shares as they train for ITU care...
