This morning been thinking of which oil to present today to you out of the range of NYR oils.... I was thinking about Jasmine and what memories it brings to me of travelling and living in India. The women would wear Jasmine flowers in their hair and it would give off a beautiful sweet perfume as they past in their sarees.....There would be street flower sellers sitting threading the flowers together to make garlands Theses garlands would be gathered to pin in the hair.  But the larger garlands would be to use to welcome visitors and to decorated the statues in temples and photos of loved ones. So a very important flower in India.


But lets look more closely at Jasmine oil for Aromatherapy. 
Benefits of Jasmine  I have found an interesting link to look at some facts and benefits of Jasmine. It has quite a romantic link to quote: 
Jasmine is a very famous flower. It has a strong yet sweet, pleasing, and romantic fragrance, which is very common in flowers that bloom only at night. The jasmine flower is often associated with romance and love. Heroes in romantic novels and movies can often be found addressing their heroines by the name “Jasmine”. For ages, jasmine has been inspiring poets as well. 
It is said to help to relieve depression which is not surprising as it is a flower that pleases and gives a feeling of upliftment with its delicate sweet aroma. It has anti infections properties and appears to be useful in menstrual pain and spasm to give some relief... so no wonder the womenfolk wear these garlands in their hair. It has been found useful in childbirth too.. So I would suggest only to be used only in late pregnancy.
