I managed a further visit to the Eleonas Camp, Athens in March with the kindness of a great supporter that helped me with donations and a flight. It was good to see Boshra's new baby Celine - sister for my Princess Leen.

NYR commission to help?
April 15th 2017 But sadly to date I have not got any orders from NYR business plan. I cannot run around doing party plans so I am reliant on developing an online customer base. If I could achieve a good loyal base then I can a) look after my valued customers with extra goodies and promotions, b) I could get commission to help my Family Link Up project. c) The business turnover would generate extra consultant products for me to put together as raffle baskets for fundraising. d) as the turnover swells I can then think of helping other charities with stock purchase for table top fundraising venues for a charity of your choice - where there can be shared donation. Plus put charity fundraising baskets together for other charities to raffle.

NEWSFLASH UPDATE UPDATE 2ND OCTOBER 2016....
The mission completed this last week of getting the neonatal cargo to the hospital that can definitely use this and to get all the baby clothes distributed to the mothers in the camp....

24th September to 1st October 2016 I am making my second trip to the Athens Refugee camp to keep my link up pledge on a Syrian family now scattered between Turkey, Greece and Germany. I have a lovely family in Athens to help with a delightful little girl who is so adorable. She is a light where ever she goes and attracts locals and tourists to her. There is an amazing community in the camp that I enjoy going round to meet and help. I am an independent helper as a retired nurse and midwife and keep the UNHCR here in London updated on all I do. This trip they are linking me to their team in Athens so really looking forward to this....
This is the reason I decided to build this NYR consultant business to help fund my project of "Family Link Up......"
I look forward to building a strong loyal customer base that can also be updated on this project....... Of course I can get together some amazing raffle prizes too ..... and offers for your loyalty...

Here is a photo taken in the camp ... I have loads of the family but still feel hesitant on displaying them for safety reasons.....I will work on how to update and preserve ID and safety.....

Been given permission from this little Princess's Mum to share some photos... this is of Paddington Bear arriving in the camp on my last trip...lol a bit of London love going to Athens......
Oh my had the most amazing phone call with an offer of some clothes and medical equipment donation from a dear brave mother that lost her 8mth old baby to an incurable illness.... I am very moved by this ... and as a nurse & midwife that has worked with loss I know this is a brave thing to do....... I feel humbled that I will take her love to the refugee camp and the Doctors of the World in Athens......... thank you will update more on this as the days and weeks move by.... x

Had an amazing week with a Syrian family. I am connecting the whole family that are now scattered between Turkey, Greece and Germany as many refugees are. They feel my family now with all I have learned from our time of sharing. They have the most cutest daughter too... but I do not feel I can share photos yet of them all given the situation is still difficult in Syria.http://wwwhydrate.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/time-in-athens.html
One main project completed over my time in Athens was introducing my Syrian family to the Doctors of the World in Athens....so now they have a knowledge where to go for help....but can also apply to help the team....even within 15 mins of being there some of the Syrian patients were asking my family to explain something.. so their worth and value seen.....we are connected.... Bless this team of volunteer doctors nurses and social workers they are coping with so many problems and clinical conditions...... was good to be welcomed as Retired Nurse and Midwife from London.... and sure is enough for me to help with too...!!!!

Busy today with my flyers to the GP surgery for the doctors to think on what they can offer and for display around the neighbourhood.
Today had the wonderful and so heart touching donation from my amazingly brave lady the mother that lost her baby... I have seen pictures of her little Angel and she had the most adorable face and eyes... she was called Amaya. the name means Night Rain - the sweet night rain. I am very very humbled and moved by this day and this story. Bless her in her lost life she will help to rebuild others lives with this amazing donation... Thank you to my brave lady my dear dear mother that gave these to me I will take them with the love they have been given with.
and the clothes will go to the camp... we were talking today it would be fun to put on a kids fashion show..... sure they and the parents would love this... and we can film the clothes received this way too....
16th August 00:25hrs
Got all the Clothes set out now in piles of Babygroes, vests, tops, trousers, cardigans, dresses and coats.....kept hugging them as so amazing this donation. The mothers in the camp have got word about this and so touched and excited to get the aid. This gives them hope some one cares.
Been listing all the medical goods for the Doctors of the World team..and will contact my friend Nasir and his logistics company to get the boxes out to them so I can receive them in Athens.... Had an American volunteer on facebook from the refugee buddy site that is offering to help me... and I can help her with her families on the street project too.
19th August
Been a busy week washing and ironing and packing the clothes... and sorting out the baby formula and equipment. I have a local logistics firm that get cargo out..... and now the Doctors of the World have given me the name of an Anglican vicar in Athens who has emailed me to say I can send things to the church and he will team up with me to get things to doctors that need the formula feed.
